Delhi Capitals (DC) secured a crucial win last night against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. In this match, the Delhi Capitals bowlers were able to keep the dangerous Rajasthan Royals opener, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, quiet and got rid of him in the early part of the first innings.

Sooryavanshi started off his innings in style by hitting DC pacer Kyle Jamieson down the ground for a four. On the next ball, which was the fifth delivery of the second innings, a full-length delivery from the pacer, between the bat and pad of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, uprooted the wicket. The RR opener departed for 4 off 2.

Cricbuzz informed that Kyle Jamieson has been warned and handed one demerit point for his aggressive celebration after dismissing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. "The incident occurred in the second over of the first innings, when, after dismissing Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Jamieson was found to be close to him in an aggressive manner, which could have provoked an aggressive reaction from the batter," it added.

It was also informed that the New Zealand international has admitted his offence and accepted the sanction issued by the Match Referee Rajeev Seth.
