Zimbabwe will be led by the experienced Craig Ervine. The squad will also be featuring veterans like Craig Ervine, Sean Williams, and Tendai Chatara. They have also included in-form players like Clive Madande, Joylord Gumbie, Brian Bennett, and Johnathan Campbell in their squad.

Zimbabwe recently played a T20I series against India. They lost the series 4-1. Ireland's last international assignment was the T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies where they failed to make the knockout stages of the tournament. Zimbabwe unfortunately failed to qualify for the tournament.
