Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is on the verge of a massive milestone in his illustrious career in the ongoing five-match T20I series against the West Indies. Yuzvendra Chahal is just a few wickets away from becoming the first Indian bowler to reach the 100-wicket milestone in T20I cricket.
Yuzvendra Chahal is one of the most successful bowlers in white-ball cricket for India. The right-arm leg-spinner impressed with his bowling in the first T20I against the West Indies in Trinidad on August 3. He picked up two wickets for 24 runs. However, the visitors suffered a four-run loss in the series opener.
Yuzvendra Chahal On The Verge Of Massive Milestone
The 33-year-old spinner is currently the highest wicket-taker in T20 internationals with 93 wickets in his tally. The veteran bowler is just seven wickets away from completing 100 wickets in the shorter format. He has the opportunity to achieve this milestone in the remaining four matches.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar holds the second position with 90 wickets, followed by Ravichandran Ashwin with 72 wickets. Jasprit Bumrah and India captain Hardik Pandya are tied on 70 wickets. Chahal is the highest wicket-taker among Indians in T20 cricket overall, with a tally of 322 scalps.

The Hardik Pandya-led team will take on the West Indies in the second T20I at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Sunday, August 6. The team is expected to play with the same combination for the upcoming match.
