BCCI has punished Rishabh Pant for maintaining a slow over-rate during the game between LSG and CSK. He has been fined INR 12 lakhs for having breached the IPL Code of Conduct.

Rishabh Pant, the skipper of the Lucknow Super Giants have not had the best of seasons so far in this season of the IPL. He has been lacking form with the bat and has also failed to be promising as the captain of the side.

The LSG vs CSK match played at the Ekana Sports Complex in Lucknow marked a clash between a team that is setting their eyes on a playoff spot and the other that is aiming for some respect with some consolation wins.

The Lucknow Super Giants defeated the Chennai Super Kings in a crucial match and have complicated the way ahead for the Super Kings. However, Rishabh Pant was fined after the match for the team's first offence of the season under the IPL's Code of Conduct relating to minimum over-rate offences. He has been fined a total of INR 12 lakhs.
