After India hammered South Africa in the series decider at Visakhapatnam, Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh was seen recording Virat Kohli's reactions as he said that had runs been a bit more to chase, Kohli would have gotten to his third hundred of the series, to which the Indian veteran had a further quirky reply.
India came out of the melancholy following their tragic Test series loss after winning the ODI series 2-1. The ODI series was thrilling and exciting from all points of view, with a total of 6 hundreds scored in the 3-match series alongside countless fifties.
The series remains a tale of a flawless batting saga, but with some remarkable comebacks from bowlers at times. India suffered a devastating defeat at Raipur, but then followed with a crushing win by 9 wickets in Visakhapatnam to seal the series.
Virat Kohli trolls Arshdeep Singh with 'century' remark
The decider ODI marked Kohli, the Indian legend, winning it for India alongside centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal. Rohit Sharma, the other veteran, had also played a fancy hand in the innings with 75 runs. He took his total runs tally in the series to 146.
After the match was over, Arshdeep Singh went live with Virat Kohli from the sidelines, and in the viral video, a quirky snap is recorded between the two.
Arshdeep Singh said, "There were fewer runs; otherwise, you would have gotten to your third century today."
Virat Kohli replied, "Thank god that he won the toss, otherwise you would have also completed a century with the ball due to the dew." Both players then erupted in loud laughter.
Arshdeep said "Few runs short, otherwise another century was confirmed for you".

Virat Kohli was named the Player of the Series
Virat Kohli returns to international cricket in India after his promising run at the Sydney Cricket Ground, which almost restored his form as well as his confidence after the two consecutive ducks to start the Australia series.
Virat Kohli started off by celebrating his first century at the SCG, and then the celebrations continued as he won India a match with an unbeaten half-century. Following his return to India, Kohli revealed a totally new side of himself.
This new version of King Kohli is fearless as he is advancing down the crease, taking on the bowlers, and has increased his run rate to over 110 in the latest series against South Africa. With 302 runs in the series, Virat was named the player of the series.
Kohli is chasing Sachin Tendulkar's century record despite playing only one format
Ever since their return to international cricket, Indian cricket legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been unstoppable. Virat has two centuries in 6 matches for India, and Rohit has one. While Virat has two half-centuries to add to it, Rohit has 3 of them.
Rohit Sharma amassed 348 runs in 6 innings at an average of 69.6, and Kohli, on the other hand, has scored 376 runs at an average of 94. Kohli is seemingly chasing Sachin Tendulkar's record of 100 international centuries even though he has retired from the two other formats of international cricket.
He already has 53 ODI centuries and 84 international hundreds across all formats.
