The second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 game between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The 41st match of the tournament between the teams took place on Thursday (25th April).
Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally registered their second win of the season as they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They were sensational with the bat and ball and bagged two points.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru opted to bat first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They were off the flying start with the bat, thanks to Faf du Plessis (45) and Virat Kohli as the duo added 48 runs for the opening partnership.
After Faf du Plessis got out, Will Jacks (6) perished as well and Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost two wickets. However, it was Rajat Patidar, who changed the entire course of the innings with his brutal innings with the bat at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The young batter played an innings of 50 runs off 20 balls. Virat Kohli played a decent hand of 53 runs as well. Royal Challengers Bengaluru came up under a bit of pressure after both the set batters got out. However, Cameron Green made sure that the team to a big total.
The all-rounder played an unbeaten innings of 37 runs off 20 balls whereas Dinesh Karthik (11) and Swapnil Singh (12) played vital innings with the bat as Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a total of 206 runs on the board.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 3/30. Along with him, T Natarajan picked two wickets while skipper Pat Cummins and Mayank Markande grabbed one wicket each for the team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad didn't have a great start to their innings with the bat as Travis Head (1) perished in the first over of the chase. Abhishek Sharma (31) at the other end continued with his positive approach and played a fiery knock at the the top.
However, after that SRH lost quick wickets with Aiden Markram (7) and Heinrich Klaasen (7) back early as well. RCB spinners were all over the batters and took wickets, leaving the opposition tottering at 124/7.
Shahbaz Ahmed (40*) tried his best with the bat but RCB restricted them to 171 and won the game by 35 runs and bagged important two points.
